PHILADELPHIA – June 3, 2019 – Turn-Key Health an Enclara Healthcare company, serving health plans, provider organizations and their members who experience a serious or advanced illness, today announced the appointment of Michael Moore, as Chief Growth Officer. The appointment is a clear statement of Turn-Key’s focus to hire the industry’s best leaders with exceptional reputations for delivering value to payers seeking improved care outcomes and enhanced quality of life for their members.
Greer Myers, president, Turn-Key, says, “Moore’s significant business development and operational experience in healthcare, technology and insurance sectors will enable us to expand our footprint more rapidly, while also developing new lines of palliative service to existing and new sectors. His blend of strong relationship building skills, financial expertise, and strategic thinking has placed him as an industry thought leader and trusted advisor. We are very pleased to have him join our expanding team of professionals who are all passionate about furthering Turn-Key’s vision and mission.”
Most recently, Moore served as senior vice president of sales and business development for Aperture Credentialing where he managed the entire client experience for payers, health systems and channel partners. Moore’s initiatives created significant company expansion and generated industry innovations that propelled Aperture Credentialing to its best in class status. Prior to this, at LexisNexis Healthcare, Moore led all revenue generation for retention, growth and channel development for the health unit, developing a global brand into one of the most respected in healthcare.
Moore says, “I am excited to join the team to help accelerate growth of our client base and service offerings. It is a great opportunity to improve the quality of care for those suffering from a serious or advanced illness, which is very much an unmet challenge in healthcare. Our position as a pioneer in the community-based palliative care space, combined with published results, and a highly scalable solution create a compelling value proposition to the payer community, which is actively looking to solve for poor quality and high cost during end-of-life.”
Moore continues, “I’m a believer. Most everyone has a relative, neighbor or friend who has been personally impacted by the complexities of care coordination for people with advanced illness. Every health plan and ACO nationwide should be aggressively evaluating the maturity of its palliative care approach and budgeting to prioritize earlier adoption of innovative CBPC. Quite simply, it’s not only the right thing to do for members, but it’s also just good business practice.”
Moore’s health and insurance experience dates to the early 1990s when he managed Institutional Contracting for Complete Health (acquired by UnitedHealth Care) and also led National Tertiary Network, a transplant and disease national centers of excellence business on the forefront of population health management.
His experience in leadership and executive roles with TXEN, Inc., CSC, Optum, UHG Public Sector Solutions, and Outcomes Health Information Solutions, gives him a unique understanding and perspective on the priorities of health plans and their relationships with health systems and providers to deliver high quality, effective and compassionate care to members.
